Position Overview:
Northwest Accounting & Tax Service is offering a seasonal internship opportunity for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to assist with document processing and front-desk support during the peak of tax season. This role is ideal for students interested in administrative support, customer service, or gaining experience in a professional office environment.
The Seasonal Processor will assist with organizing and preparing tax return packets, managing digital records, and supporting client intake in a non-tax-preparation role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scan, log, and organize client documents using office software
- Assemble completed tax returns into professional presentation folders
- Maintain orderly digital and physical filing systems
- Greet clients and assist with drop-offs and pick-ups at the front desk
- Answer and route incoming phone calls appropriately
- Support administrative staff with daily office tasks
Qualifications:
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer proficiency (email, scanning, file naming)
- Clear and polite verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
